Fall fertilization is a management practice that offers farmers the opportunity for increased profits and higher crop yields. It also helps shift part of the spring workload for farmers and their input suppliers, allowing for improvements in management efficiency. There are, however, certain precautions and guidelines that should be followed to assure maximum benefit from the practice.
